There is plenty to do around Scano di Montiferro. The Pro Loco website lists all upcoming events.

The nearest big towns are Bosa (20km) and Oristano (50km). A car is essential and the roads are quite good.

Beaches: Note these are free but bars will charge for sunbeds and umbrelllas (in season)

• Santa Caterine is 20 minutes away by car
• Bosa Marina/Turas is 30 minutes away by car
• S'Architttu is 30 minutes away by car
• Putzu Idu is 45 minutes away by car

Trenino Verde:

Museums:

There are some interesting museums in area. We recommend Cabras.

Tharros:

Walking:

There are plenty of good walks and trekking in the area.

Bosa Beer Fest:

This is held in late April every year, around the 25th. It is one of the largest outdoor beer festivals in Italy.
